FAQ Air Rifles - Service

As the design of CO2 rifles differs too much from the design of a compressed air rifle, we do not offer the conversion to compressed air for rifles.

However, it is possible to convert the LG 88 to a different CO2 air cylinder.

• We recommend using cleaning wicks.
• Apply a small amount of oil to the barrels of guns manufactured after 2014 (WD40 is recommended).
• Then pull dry once.
• Clean older barrels without oil.
• How many wicks you have to use depends on the caliber of the gun (observe the manufacturer's information on the wicks).
• Cleaning with cleaning felts is also possible.
• Please purchase cleaning accessories from specialist retailers.

The flawless function has been tested and guaranteed down to minus 15 degrees.

• The Steyr stabilizer is ideally designed for our match weapons.
• The stabilizer is adjusted at the factory so that the air rifle is recoil-free.

No! Our weights are designed not to affect the recoil and vibration.

• Our guns work WITHOUT oil!
• Except for the nickel-plated barrels, all parts are anodized or otherwise coated with high quality.
• We recommend only lightly oiling the loading lever. ATTENTION: Do not bring any oil into the system!

• Wooden stock rifles (e.g. LGB 1, Pro X, H5/H5A, Challenge Hunting, …) - without stock
• Multi-shot rifles – with the magazine
• Challenge - without butt stock

We recommend NOT sending wooden stocks to avoid cracks or breaks.

Remove heavy accessories such as filling adapter or air cylinders from the case.

IMPORTANT: Please add a letter with a short description of the defect, your return address and telephone number for further questions.

• Yes you can, unless it is a diopter from the LGB 1. Then it is a diopter from Anschütz and should be sent to Anschütz for the repair.

A conversion is not possible for the 7.5 joule Pro X (with a free designation).

We can convert rifles from 16 to 24 joules with 4.5 mm and from 16 to 40 joules with 5.5 mm.

Please note: A conversion is only possible at the factory.

Clean the barrel with felt plugs.

The threads of the air cylinder should be lubricated with acid-free grease (e.g. Vaseline) approximately every 2,500 shots.

The best way to do this is to apply a small dab of grease to the threads with a small brush or a tube of grease (see photo below) and then screw in the air cylinder.
